Gloria So-Lloyd, Ph.D.; P.C.
Dr. Gloria So-Lloyd is a licensed health service psychologist as well as a licensed clinical social worker in Oklahoma. She started offering psychotherapy at a community mental health center in Sioux City Iowa serving children and adults in 1992. Dr. So-Lloyd has been a part of the professional staff at a drug rehabilitation center, an inpatient adult unit in a behavioral health hospital, a rape and abuse crisis center, a Hospice organization, a home health agency, a child guidance center and a university counseling center. Furthermore, she was in the role of training and licensing foster/adoptive homes. Dr. So-Lloyd received solid professional training - a Master's degree at the University of Oklahoma and a Doctorate degree at Oklahoma State University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship in clinical psychology at the Oklahoma Health Consortium. In addition, she is certified in providing Parent-Child Interaction Therapy through the state of Oklahoma. She has an intense desire to strengthen relationships with a special interest in marriage, which was reflected by her doctoral dissertation. She believes that a satisfied marriage is the foundation of an effective parenting and a healthy family. Dr. So-Lloyd provides treatment for building relationships, parenting, depression, anxiety, abuse, self-esteem, assertiveness, etc. With her clinical background in serving a diverse clientele for almost fourteen years, Dr. So-Lloyd is in an excellent position to offer psychological services in the private counseling setting.
